A Telugu couple from Rajahmundry was allegedly killed by their teenage son in Riyadh on Thursday. The Class 12 student later died by suicide. The family had been living in Saudi Arabia for several years.
The Andhra Pradesh government has intensified efforts to bring home 217 Telugu citizens stranded in violence-hit Nepal. Special flights and buses are being used, with over 130 already escorted to Kathmandu Airport, as coordinated evacuation operations continue with Indian and Nepalese authorities.
