Authorities allege the network recruits youths for suspicious activities and have urged citizens to remain vigilant against online radicalisation and easy-money offers
The Centre has declared Pakistan-based Shahzad Bhatti Network a terrorist organisation under the UAPA. Home Minister Amit Shah said the group was involved in smuggling arms, explosives and narcotics, radicalising youth and criminals, and spreading provocative digital content
The European Union has formally listed Iran’s Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organisation, citing Tehran’s violent suppression of nationwide protests that activists say killed over 6,000 people. The EU also sanctioned Iranian officials and organisations linked to censorship.
Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy also said that 635 terrorists were killed by security forces in Jammu and Kashmir between 2018 and 2020.
