The Elon Musk-run company in 2019 launched the Model 3 Standard Range version for $35,000 — delivering on a promise made long ago.

Tesla Tequila is available to order on its site for $250 and is packaged in a lightning bolt-shaped bottle mounted on a futuristic stand.

Tesla also produced 145,036 vehicles during the third quarter -- a huge increase over the 82,272 vehicles that were made during the second quarter this year amid pandemic.

Tesla previously offered a two- to a four-year warranty on used Model S and X vehicles, but now only offers a warranty of one year or 10,000 miles over the original policy

Earlier this month, Musk said the electric car maker is finally ready to enter the India market next year.

The company produced 1,28,044 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles and delivered 1,24,100 of those.

Musk revealed his plans to bring Tesla cars to India in his response to a Twitter post that asked about the progress on Tesla's planned entry into India.
