The State government has drawn up plans to merge the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education with the School Education department. The government might issue an ordinance before amending the Telangana Intermediate Education Act 1971.
The Telangana Gazetted Headmasters Association (TGHMA) has extended support to the proposed merger of the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education with the School Education Department. The association believes the move will reduce academic pressure on students after Class X.
