A UK F-35B fighter jet that made an emergency landing in Thiruvananthapuram on June 14 is set for repair as a UK engineering team arrives. Specialist tools are now in place after prior repair attempts failed. Discussions with India continue

The flight, IX 521, will depart Thiruvananthapuram every Monday at 7.55 pm and will reach the Gulf city at 10.40 pm

The protesters are employees of Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited. Trade unions led by INTUC, BMS and CITU have joined the strike.

According to airport sources, the flight landed at around 8 am and was moved to an isolation bay
