South Central Railway detected more than 4,100 cases of ticketless and irregular travel during a special ticket-checking drive across three divisions on Monday. The operation covered 169 trains and generated over Rs 30.53 lakh in penalties, besides fines for littering, smoking and unauthorised hawking.
