The Khairatabad Ganesh pandal witnessed a massive rush on Sunday, with roads around the venue gridlocked and the Metro station packed with devotees. Traffic police managed vehicle movement and parking as around two lakh devotees were expected to visit.
Ongoing stormwater drain works near Model House in Punjagutta have caused severe traffic congestion, delaying commuters for weeks. GHMC officials said the project is nearing completion but progress has slowed due to heavy rains, with the remaining work expected to finish soon.
