Low frequency and irregular TSRTC bus services in Hyderabad’s southern suburbs are causing hardship to students and office-goers during peak hours. Commuters complain of long waiting times, overcrowding and lack of bus shelters at several locations.
Floodwater from the Musi River entered Hyderabad’s MGBS, forcing TGSRTC to suspend services. Buses were diverted to JBS, Uppal, LB Nagar, and Aramghar. Passengers have been urged to avoid MGBS and check helplines for updates.
The TSRTC is evolving into a much responsive mode of public transport, and whatever initiatives that are being introduced with the aim of serving the public is being made known to the targeted audience as well.
