He noted that he had warned for months about the risk of the conflict spreading, adding that the situation in the occupied West Bank is "boiling over," with attacks in Lebanon threatening the entire region.
The panel is set to be hosted at the UN Headquarters in New York on Thursday, and the actress will attend the event virtually owing to her work commitments.
