India has cautioned that UN Security Council membership must not be misused to legitimise terrorists or blacklist entities on political grounds, urging transparency and objectivity in sanctions regimes and reforms in the Council’s working methods.
India has reaffirmed its support for Palestine’s United Nations membership and the two-state solution, with the Ministry of External Affairs highlighting ongoing developmental assistance in healthcare, education, and women’s empowerment during a donor group meeting in Brussels.
