Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan announced a committee to resolve Uppada fishermen’s grievances over sea pollution affecting livelihoods. The panel will include officials, local leaders, and fishermen representatives to address compensation, infrastructure, and sustainable fishing opportunities.
On Sunday, District Superintendent of Police P Rabindranath inspected the road and said, "the storm had not subsided and the beach road from Kakinada to Uppada is wholly destroyed".
