The United States launched fresh military strikes against Iran on Wednesday night, retaliating for Tehran’s attempted missile attack on US forces in Jordan. CENTCOM confirmed the strikes began at 8 p.m. ET, targeting sites in southern Iran including Hormozgan and Khuzestan provinces.
