The Allahabad High Court stayed demolition of a house in Prayagraj’s Dal Mandi area, questioning the notice issued in a deceased person’s name and directing authorities to submit an inspection report while maintaining status quo till May 7
"The riverfront is a public property owned by the state government and being looked after by the Varanasi Municipal Corporation," said the district magistrate in a letter to VMC.
