Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has applied for the resumption of his MLA pension in Rajasthan. Dhankhar, who represented Kishangarh as a Congress MLA, is entitled to Rs 42,000 per month following his resignation as Vice-President in July
Dhankhar is set to engage with over 500 organic farmers during his visit, with at least 300 additional farmers expected to attend the program. On Wednesday, Collector Rahul Raj visited the Krishi Vigyan Kendra to assess the preparations for Dhankhar's visit. He instructed Narsapur RDO Mahipal Reddy and R&B EE Sardar Singh to ensure all arrangements for the Vice-President's program were in place.
Chidambaram, who served as the Finance Minister in UPA I and UPA II regimes, said that the three criminal laws which came into force from July 1 were drafted by non-professional people, who were part-time members of a committee.
