Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said 532 Naxalites have been killed and over 2,700 have surrendered since January 2024. He said strong security operations and rehabilitation measures are helping the state move towards ending the Maoist menace
It might be recalled that in a statement on January 18 by the Maoist South Bastar Divisional Committee secretary Ganga stated that Damodar died in an operation by security forces south Bastar division Pamed-Basaguda-Usur area in Chhattisgarh.
