A violent clash between two rowdy-sheeters inside Chanchalguda Central Prison, Hyderabad, left one inmate seriously injured on Wednesday. The fight, which broke out in the Mulaqat Room, damaged glass panels and prompted police to declare a high alert in and around the jail.
The incident occurred at Nandlalpur village under the jurisdiction of Mufassil police station in the district. The deceased has been identified as ASI Santosh Kumar Singh
