The Election Commission has announced a Special Summary Revision of electoral rolls in seven states and Union Territories to enrol eligible voters, especially first-time electors. Draft rolls will be published on November 30, with final electoral rolls scheduled for January 21, 2027
The Election Commission clarified that no political party in Bihar has requested changes to the draft electoral roll since its release. However, 941 individual claims have been filed. The EC assured that no eligible voter will be excluded from the final list
