Nearly four lakh orders get cancelled on Zomato every month and the food that is about to be delivered goes waste. So Zomato came out wih a new offer where such food packets are offered at a discounted prices to the new customers
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) team found 90 packets of button mushrooms with incorrect packaging dates at Zomato's B2B division, Hyperpure. On the social media platform X, CEO Deepinder Goyal clarified that the warehouse team had already flagged these mushrooms and rejected them during quality control (QC) checks.
