BRSLP deputy leader and former minister Sabitha Indra Reddy alleged that student enrolment in Telangana government schools has declined by over 3.57 lakh under the Congress government, blaming the fall on the government's failure to strengthen public education and claiming that parents have lost confidence in the system.

The death toll in the fire incident at the Special Newborn Care Unit of RIMS-Adilabad has risen to three after another infant died while undergoing treatment in Nizamabad.
