At a public meeting in Devarkonda, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy launched a sharp attack on the BRS, vowing that the Srisailam Left Bank Canal (SLBC) and Dindi projects would be completed before the Congress government’s term ends.

MLC Chintapandu Naveen, popularly known as Teenmaar Mallanna, was placed under house arrest by Rachakonda Police on Saturday, with personnel deployed in large numbers around his residence in Peerzadiguda. BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar defended the Congress government’s stance on BC reservations, clarifying that gram panchayat elections were being held under compelling circumstances and not due to opposition to the 42 percent quota demand.
