1.26 lakh grad voters in erstwhile Khammam
As many as 41,571 graduates have enrolled their names in the voter list in Kothagudem district. Of them, 24,733 are male and 16,829 female voters and nine other, said Collector MV Reddy.
Khammam: The final electoral list of erstwhile Khammam district for the ensuing Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda graduates’ MLC constituency election has been published. The erstwhile district has 1,26,622 graduate voters.
As many as 41,571 graduates have enrolled their names in the voter list in Kothagudem district. Of them, 24,733 are male and 16,829 female voters and nine other, said Collector MV Reddy.
Polling station number 221 in Tekulapalli mandal has the highest number of voters with about 1,884 graduates, followed by 1,830 voters in station number 207 in Burgampahad.
Station number 214 in Allapalli mandal has the lowest number of voters — 200. The remotely located polling station (200) in Cherla mandal has 973 voters.
Similarly, Khammam district, which has 107 polling stations, has 85,051 voters, of them 54,515 are male and 30, 525 female, said Collector RV Karnan.
Khammam (Urban) mandal, which comes under the Khammam Municipal Corporation, has the highest number of 32, 001 voters — 18, 227 male and 13, 774 female.
Several political parties, including TRS, Congress, BJP and Left, have got the graduates enrolled in a big way conduction enrolment drives.
