Jayashankar Bhupalpally: A ten-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) block at the 100-bed government hospital in the district headquarters was virtually inaugurated on Tuesday by District Collector S Krishna Aditya and NRIs. Bhupalpally MLA Gandra Venkatramana Reddy was physically present at the hospital during the inauguration.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that Nirmaan Organization, a non-profit organisation, with the support of NRIs from Bopparam village of Kataram mandal, Vurunandhu Kishore Rao couple and Sushan Rao couple along with Satish Yellanki , USA, had helped set up the 10-bed ICU block with ventilator and other emergency facilities at the 100-bed hospital in the district headquarters for the benefit of the poor patients of the district.
MLA Venkataramana Reddy said that the people of the district would always remember the services of the NRIs for coming forward to create medical facilities for the poor. Nirman Organisation CEO Mayur Patnala, Municipal Chairperson Sheggem Venkata Rani and DCHS Dr Tirupati and the members of the Nirman organisation were present on the occasion.
