10 candidates file 13 nominations on day 3 for Jubilee Hills by-election
Ten candidates filed 13 nominations on Wednesday for the Jubilee Hills by-election, bringing the total to 30 candidates and 35 nominations so far. The District Grievance Committee released Rs 21.21 lakh seized cash after verifying five genuine cases

Hyderabad: On the third day of nominations, a total of 10 candidates filed 13 nominations for the Jubilee Hills assembly by-election, here on Wednesday. The process of filing the nomination began on October 13 and till today, 30 candidates have filed 35 nominations, according to a press release.
Meanwhile, the District Grievance Committee (DGC) has processed five cases and released seized cash of Rs 21,21,600. The DGC has been constituted to ensure prompt redressal of public grievances related to seized cash and articles during the enforcement of the Model Code of Conduct for the Jubilee Hills assembly by-election.
The Committee is holding hearings at GHMC Head Office, 3rd Floor, Tank Bund, to verify the genuineness of claims and expedite the release of legitimate seized cash and articles.
The DGC is ensuring that genuine cases are resolved within one to two days, minimising inconvenience to the public, a press release said.
