Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force (South) team along with the Rein Bazaar police raided a bangle making unit at Hussainibagh and rescued 10 minor children who were found working there.
Aurangazeb, a native of Bihar who was running the bangle making unit and who employed the children, was arrested. “He was making the children to work for long hours and paying their parents meagre wages,” the police said.
The children were handed over to the Child Welfare department officials and later shifted to a rehabilitation centre. A case has been registered at the Rein Bazaar police station against Aurangazeb.
