10 killed in four road accidents across Telangana since Friday

Hyderabad: Ten persons were killed and nearly 40 persons injured in four accidents across the State since Friday night. At Jadcherla in Mahabubnagar district, four persons were killed after a concrete mixer truck hit a tractor and two motorcycles. “Three persons who were going on the motorcycles died while another person who was sitting on the tractor died after it overturned,” Jadcherla SI Abhishek said.
In another accident, four persons travelling in a Toyota Innova, all from Yousufguda in the city, died when their vehicle collided with an oncoming car on the outskirts of Kodangal town on Saturday morning. Five others were injured critically. The car was heading towards Karnataka from Hyderabad.
In Adilabad’s Echoda, two persons were killed and 13 others injured when a jeep crashed into a culvert on the Hyderabad-Nagpur National Highway on the outskirts of Islamnagar. Most of the victims were daily wage labourers from Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. In the fourth incident at Warangal Rural, at least 20 bus passengers were injured when a lorry rammed an RTC bus which was heading towards Bhupalpally from Parkal depot.
