Vizianagaram: Ten children studying in fourth class in a municipal primary school in the Bobbili area have tested positive for coronavirus disease. Mandal Education Officer Lakshmana Rao said on Wednesday that there are 160 students and seven teachers in the school.
With ten students affected by Covid, it was decided to conduct tests for parents as well as midday meal staff. The municipal commissioner was also requested to declare a week-long holiday for the school, he said, adding that the condition of all the children who tested positive was stable and they were provided medical treatment.
