Hyderabad: Telangana on Tuesday reached yet another milestone in Covid vaccination drive when the health department completed administering first dose of Covid vaccine to 100 percent of the eligible beneficiaries between 15 years and 17 years of age group in Hanamkonda district.

The vaccination drive for youngsters was launched on January 3 and as on Tuesday, February 1, a total of 56, 299 youngsters in Hanamkonda district have received the first dose of Covaxin.

The total number of youngsters between 15 years and 17 years is 55,694 in Hanumakonda district, health authorities on Tuesday said.

Congratulating the health department for the achievement, Health Minister, Harish Rao said that all out efforts are underway to quickly complete the vaccination drive of 15 to 17 years age group in Telangana.
