Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 1,058 new Covid-19 infections and four fatalities on Wednesday taking the overall toll to 1,419 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,60,834. As on Wednesday, there were 12,682 active Covid-19 cases in the State. A total of 1,440 persons recovered on Wednesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,46,733 with a recovery rate of 94.59 per cent while the countrywide recovery rate was 93.6 per cent.
Between Tuesday and Wednesday, 38,757 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 542 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 50,11,164 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,60,834 have tested positive and 2,46,733 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts include four from Adilabad, 58 from Bhadradri, 168 from areas under GHMC, 36 from Jagtiyal, 16 from Jangaon, 13 from Bhupalpally, two from Gadwal, 18 from Kamareddy, 53 from Karimnagar, 36 from Khammam, six from Asifabad, eight from Mahabubnagar, nine from Mahabubabad, 37 from Mancherial, 17 from Medak, 93 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 15 from Mulugu, 37 from Nagarkurnool, 43 from Nalgonda, seven from Narayanpet, nine from Nirmal, 16 from Nizamabad, 25 from Pedapalli, 30 from Siricilla, 91 from Rangareddy, 47 from Sangareddy, 29 from Siddipet, 35 from Suryapet, 24 from Vikarabad, 15 from Wanaparthy, nine from Warangal Rural and 35 from Warangal Urban and 17 from Bhongir.
