Medak: Swift action by an emergency medical technician (EMT) of 108 ambulance service saved the life of a newborn in Medak.

Ameena Begum, a resident of Subhash Nagar, delivered a baby girl at MCH in Medak on Saturday. Since the baby was suffering from breathing issues, the doctors advised her to shift the infant to Niloufer Hospital. The newborn stopped breathing midway through the journey when the EMT, Raju, performed Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) bringing the girl back to life after a couple of minutes of effort. The infant was taken to the Niloufer Hospital where she is undergoing treatment.

Ameena Begum and her husband Aziz thanked Raju and the pilot of the ambulance Naveen for their timely action.
