1,197 new Covid cases reported in Telangana

On Monday, 1,707 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 96.61 percent

Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 1,197 new Covid infections and nine fatalities till Monday evening, pushing the cumulative number of deaths to 3,576 and the total number of positive cases to 6,14,399. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Monday evening, is 17,246.

Between Sunday and Monday, authorities conducted 1,19,537 Covid rapid tests of which test results of 965 samples are awaited. On Monday, 1,707 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 96.61 percent. So far, a total of 1,76,45,176 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,14,399 have tested positive and 5,93,577 persons have recovered.


The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included four from Adilabad, 71 from Bhadradri, 137 from areas under GHMC, 19 from Jagtiyal, 14 from Jangaon, 26 from Bhupalpally, eight from Gadwal, two Kamareddy, 64 from Karimnagar, 67 from Khammam, nine from Asifabad, 21 from Mahabubnagar, 56 from Mahabubabad, 46 from Mancherial, 10 from Medak, 71 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 27 from Mulugu, 17 from Nagarkurnool, 84 from Nalgonda, eight from Narayanpet, one from Nirmal, 12 from Nizamabad, 58 from Peddapalli, 23 from Siricilla, 65 from Rangareddy, 14 from Sangareddy, 39 from Siddipet, 72 from Suryapet, 19 from Vikarabad, 26 from Wanaparthy, 11 from Warangal Rural, 43 from Warangal Urban and 53 from Bhongir.
