Hyderabad: A minor girl was allegedly raped by a man in Banjara Hills, police said. The 14-year-old girl, a Class Eight student, lived with her parents, both construction workers. According to the Banjara Hills police, the incident occurred when the girl was alone in the house and the suspect K Rajesh (25), a driver from the same neighbourhood, raped her. The victim, out of fear, at first did not reveal what happened to anyone. However, her mother sensed something suspicious about the child’s behaviour and asked her, which was when she narrated the incident.

She was immediately shifted to a government hospital, where she was medically examined and is currently being treated. Based on a complaint from her mother, a case was booked and efforts are on to nab Rajesh.
