14-year-old Sahruda to perform Bharatanatyam Arangetram in Hyderabad
Fourteen-year-old Bharatanatyam dancer Sahruda will present her Arangetram at Ravindra Bharathi on May 2. A multi-talented student, she has trained under Guru Gayatri Arnalkar Palesha and has participated in international platforms, marking a significant artistic milestone.

Hyderabad: Sahruda, the 14-year-old Bharatanatyam dancer, training under Guru Gayatri Arnalkar Palesha, will be making her Bharatanatyam Arangetram at Ravindra Bharathi on May 2 at 11 am.
A Grade 10 student at The Hyderabad Public School, Sahruda, is a multi-talented individual, a Black Belt holder in Karate, an aspiring oil painter, and a national winner junior model who represented India at Thailand. She also participated in global platforms like Model United Nations in Belgium and COP30 in Brazil.
Sahruda is training under Guru Gayatri Arnalkar Palesha, founder of Gayatri Gatividya Gurukul (GGG) a globally recognised Bharatanatyam institution with students across more than 20 countries. A devoted artiste and Guru with over 18 years of experience, she holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Bharatanatyam and has undergone training under Guru Usha Rahul (Nalanda), Guru Maithili Raghavan (Kalakshetra), and Dr Parimal Phadke.
The Arangretam will have Sravanti Srikar (Vocalist), M Chandra Kanth (Mridangam), A Shiva Krishna Swaroop (Violinist), Surabhi, Radhika (Make-up) and Tarikita (Costume).
