15 injured as TSRTC bus rams tractor near Karimnagar
Fifteen people were injured after a TSRTC bus from Metpally depot rammed a tractor loaded with paddy bags near Karimnagar early Tuesday. Police rushed the injured to hospital and cleared the traffic disruption caused by the collision.
Karimnagar: Fifteen persons were injured in a road accident near Renigunta bridge in Thimmapur mandal on Rajiv Rahadari early on Tuesday.
The mishap occurred around 5 am when a TSRTC bus from Metpally depot, heading towards Karimnagar from Hyderabad, rammed a tractor loaded with paddy bags from the rear. The impact caused the bags to spill across the road, disrupting traffic for some time.
The bus passengers and the tractor driver sustained injuries in the collision. On being alerted, LMD police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to the district headquarters hospital for treatment.
