157 new Covid cases recorded in Telangana
As on Sunday, there were 1,983 active Covid-19 cases in the State
Hyderabad: Telangana has recorded 157 new Covid-19 cases and one fatality on Sunday, taking the death toll to 1,654 and cumulative positive cases to 3,01,318. As on Sunday, there were 1,983 active Covid-19 cases in the State.
A total of 166 persons recovered on Sunday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,97,681 with a recovery rate of 98.79 percent, while the countrywide recovery rate was 96.7 per cent.
Between Saturday and Sunday, 38,517 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 237 samples were awaited. So far, a total of 92,38,982 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 3,01,318 have tested positive and 2,97,681 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 cases reported from districts include seven from Adilabad, one from Bhadradri, 35 from areas under GHMC, five from Jagitial, three from Jangaon, one from Bhupalpally, one from Kamareddy, nine from Karimnagar, four from Khammam, one from Asifabad, four from Mahabubnagar, six from Mancherial, four from Medak, 12 from Medchal Malkajgiri, two from Mulugu, six from Nalgonda, one from Nirmal, eight from Nizamabad, one from Peddapalli, two from Siricilla, 11 from Ranga Reddy, nine from Sangareddy, three from Siddipet, four from Suryapet, five from Vikarabad, one from Wanaparthy, four from Warangal Rural, six from Warangal Urban and one from Yadadri.
