16 street dog puppies find loving homes at KBR Park adoption drive

Hyderabad: A total of 16 street dog puppies found a caring home at an animal adoption event held at KBR Park premises here on Sunday.
An initiative for animal welfare, the ‘Street Dog Puppies and Indies Adoption’ program was organised by GHMC veterinary wing. According to the GHMC officials, the programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from animal lovers, resulting in the successful adoption of 16 puppies into caring homes.
All the adopted puppies were vaccinated against Rabies, and their new owners were handed official vaccination records to ensure continued care. Adopters were also advised to bring their pets to the Animal Care Center for Animal Birth Control (ABC) surgery at the appropriate age, promoting responsible pet ownership and population control.
The GHMC, in a press release, said the adoption drive not only gave these puppies a safe and loving future but also spread awareness about the importance of adopting Indo and street dogs.
