Hyderabad: In a welcome gesture, the organisers of the ongoing Archery Premier League (APL) have arranged transport for around 80 students from Kinnerasani Tribal Welfare School (boys) and Kanchanapalli Tribal Welfare Sports School (girls) to watch the league at Necklace Road here.
Putta Shankaraiah, general secretary of the Khammam District Archery Association and a member of the Archery Association of India’s Development Committee, thanked the organisers for the initiative, saying it would help inspire young archers and encourage them to dream big.
“I believe this is a wonderful opportunity to watch the Archery Premier League and draw inspiration from national and international archers,” he said.
“We are also grateful to the APL chairman and the entire APL team for this encouragement. We hope many future archery stars will emerge from these schools,” Shankaraiah said.
