17-year-old intermediate student dies by suicide in Hyderabad

A 17-year-old intermediate student, Mirza Rahmath Baig, died by suicide at his residence in Afsar Khan Colony, Langer Houz, on Saturday night. Family members found him hanging in his room and rushed him to hospital, where he died during treatment.

Hyderabad: A teenager died by suicide at his house in Langer Houz over some personal issues on Saturday night.

According to the police, the boy Mirza Rahmath Baig (17), a resident of Afsar Khan Colony, Langer Houz, was pursuing an intermediate course and stayed with his parents.


On Sunday, around midnight, Rahmath Baig was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his room by his family members, who rushed him to a private hospital. The boy later died during treatment, said the Langer Houz police.

A case is registered.
