18-year-old girl commits suicide at Nacharam

On Saturday night, the girl went into the washroom in the house and slit her wrist with a blade

Hyderabad: A teenager ended her life over personal issues at Nacharam on Saturday night. According to the police, the 18-year-old girl, a resident of Annapurna colony in Mallapur under Nacharam police station limits, lived along with her parents and was pursuing graduation at a private degree college.

On Saturday night, the girl went into the washroom in the house and slit her wrist with a blade. The family members who noticed this immediately rushed her to a hospital where she passed away early on Sunday while undergoing treatment. The police said that the doctors suspect the woman also tried to inject some poisonous substance in her body while attempting to end her life.

On a complaint, the police booked a case and shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital for postmortem examination. After an autopsy the body was handed over to the family members.
