18-year-old Hyderabad youth missing in Krishna river
A degree student from Hyderabad, identified as Chanakya of Kukatpally, went missing after slipping into the Krishna River at Nagarjuna Sagar on Tuesday. He was on a trip with friends. SDRF teams launched rescue operations, which are still underway

Hyderabad: An 18-year-old degree student identified as Chanakya from Kukatpally reportedly went missing after slipping into the Krishna river near Anjaneya Swamy Pushkara Ghat at Nagarjuna Sagar on Tuesday.
The incident occurred when Chanakya was on sightseeing trip along with five other students. The group was clicking photographs at the ghats, when he slipped and fell into the water.
Rescue operations by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) are under way to locate the missing youth.
