Hyderabad: Telangana reported 185 new Covid infections and one fatality on Saturday taking the cumulative number of deaths to 4,014 and the total number of positive cases so far to 6,79,430. The number of active cases in Telangana, as on Saturday, was 3,761.
The authorities on Friday conducted 41,484 Covid tests of which results of 4,875 samples were awaited. A total of 205 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 98.85 per cent on Saturday.
So far, a total of 2,92,59,376 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 6,79,430 have tested positive and 6,71,655 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included one from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 78 from areas under GHMC, three from Jagityal, five from Karimnagar, 14 from Khammam, five from Mahabubnagar, six from Mahabubabad, two from Mancherial, 15 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, one from Mulugu, two from Nagarkurnool, seven from Nalgonda, two each from Naryanpet and Nirmal, one from Nizamabad, four from Peddapalli, 14 from Rangareddy, three from Sangareddy, two from Siddipet, five from Vikarabad, one each from Wanaparthy and Warangal Rural and 11 from Hanumakonda.
