19-year-old commits suicide in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Allegedly depressed over his girlfriend’s family members picking up a fight about his relationship, a teenage boy committed suicide in KPHB here on Tuesday.
Police said Nagesh Tiwari (19), a native of Maharashtra who worked as driver for a hotel was in a relationship with a girl, also from Maharashtra. She was working for a private firm in Madhapur.
Last week, the couple decided to get married and went to their native place and informed their families about their decision. However, the girl’s parents went to Tiwari’s house and picked up a fight with his family members.
Tiwari, who was depressed over it returned alone to Hyderabad on Monday. He was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his house by his neighbour Prakash Datta, who alerted the police. The KPHB police visited the spot and has taken up investigation.
