193 students of KU campus women’s engineering college secure jobs

Warangal: A total of 193 students from the University College of Engineering and Technology for Women, Kakatiya University campus, have secured jobs in campus placement drives by MNCs and major Indian companies for the academic year 2020-21, said KU VC Prof T Ramesh here on Tuesday.

Addressing a press conference at the University College of Engineering and Technology for Women, Ramesh said that 75 per cent of the students in the college secured on-campus placements in MNCs.

“Two of them were offered high packages of Rs 7.50 lakhs per annum, while the lowest pay package is Rs 4.50 lakh. The campus recruitment has increased by 58 per cent as compared to the last year,” he added. Prof Ramesh also added that a total of 369 students from the University College of Engineering and Technology for Women, KU College of Engineering and Technology, Warangal, and University College of Engineering, Kakatiya University (UCE-KU), Kothagudem had got the jobs during the campus placement drives.
