Sangareddy: Excise and Enforcement sleuths of Patancheru have seized 210 kgs of Ganja while five Ganja smugglers were transporting it from Vishakpatnam in Andhra Pradesh to Solapur in Maharastrtra.

Following a tip off, the enforcement sleuths have way-laid at Muthangi toll-plaza on Outer ring road near Patancheru on Sunday. When the Ganja smugglers have arrived in three vehicles with Ganja packed in packets, the enforcement team led by K Anil Kumar, AES Patancheru of Enforcement wing, took them into custody. They have also seized two Mahindra Scorpio vehicles, one Maruti Swift Car and six smartphones from them.

The accused were Mahesh of Karnataka state, Radhagoni Shivashankar, Natalie Ajay, Muhammad Ameeruddin and Nadari Lingam of Sangareddy district. Assistant Commissioner Excise and Enforcement Medak Division K Raghuram said that the investigation is on to know how the gang is operating.
