218 candidates shortlisted at Army Welfare Placement Organisation job drive in Secunderabad
The Army Welfare Placement Organisation conducted a job drive at Secunderabad Military Station for Veer Naris, ex-servicemen dependents, serving soldiers’ families and graduates. Twenty-six companies interviewed 497 candidates, with 218 shortlisted for final selection across various private and multinational firms

Hyderabad: A Job Drive was organised by the Army Welfare Placement Organisation (AWPO), under the aegis of HQ Telangana and Andhra Sub Area (TASA), for Veer Naris, Widows, Dependents of Ex-Servicemen and Serving Soldiers, and fresh graduates, in collaboration with Magic Bus, Air India SATS, Fractal, WIPRO and 22 other reputed Private and MNC companies at Secunderabad Military Station.
The event was attended by Deputy Chairperson, AWWA, HQ TASA, who was briefed by the Director, AWPO on the participating firms and the conduct of the drive. She also interacted with the candidates and delivered an inspiring pep talk, encouraging them to seize the opportunities and contribute meaningfully to nation building.
A total of 26 MNCs and Private Companies participated in the drive. 497 candidates were interviewed, which included 45 Veer Naris and women candidates.
The drive yielded impressive results with 218 candidates shortlisted for final selection by various companies. This includes 27 Veer Naris and women candidates and 191 fresh graduates, both male and female. Final selection and offer letters are expected to be issued within the next 2-3 weeks.
