There are 54,655 voters in the division including 27,889 male and 26763 female voters. There are 69 polling stations in the divisions and 12 micro-observers are monitoring the poll proceedings while web casting was arranged at 23 polling stations. In view of the elections in the division, elaborate security arrangements have been made in the division.
