25-year-old drowns during immersion of Ganesh idol in Nizamabad

Nizamabad: A young man drowned in a pond while immersing an idol of Lord Ganesh in Lingareddypeta village of the Yellareddy mandal of the district on Monday evening. The deceased was identified as B Yesaiah(25).

According to reports, Yesaiah, along with friends, went to immerse Ganesh Idol at a local pond and accidently fell into the water body along with the idol. His body was recovered in the wee hours of Tuesday.
