Nalgonda: A youth, Pathulothu Kishan (29), was electrocuted at Gonya thanda of Adavidevulapally mandal in Nalgonda district on Wednesday.
According to Adavidevulapally Sub-Inspector Veerashaker, the victim came in contact with a live electricity wire when he touched a supporting wire of an electricity pole. He went to an open place near his house to answer nature’s call at 5 am. As the ceramic insulator on the pole was damaged, the electricity was passing through the supporting wire leading to the electrocution of Kishan. The body was shifted to the area hospital in Miryalaguda for autopsy.
Based on a complaint lodged by the victim’s wife Jyothy, police filed a case and took up the investigation.
