30 injured as RTC bus collides with lorry in Mulugu

Mulugu: At least 30 passengers were injured, several of them critically, after an RTC bus collided with a lorry at Jalagalancha Bridge, a suburb of Tadwai mandal of the district on Wednesday.
According to reports, the RTC bus was heading towards Hanamkonda from Eturnagaram and as it approached Jalagalancha Bridge road, it collided head-on with a lorry coming from the opposite direction. Several passengers in the bus were injured in the accident. It is learnt that 15 passengers received serious injuries. The injured passengers were shifted to Mulugu Area Hospital for treatment.
The accident resulted in a huge traffic jam on the Mulugu-Warangal highway. It took over an hour to clear the traffic. A case was registered and investigation is underway.
