Sangareddy: Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy on Thursday said the government will construct a massive reservoir with 30 lakh litre storage capacity at PJR Colony in Ameenpur Municipality to meet the drinking water needs of the municipality.
The MLA, along with Municipal Chairman Tummala Panduranga Reddy, Vice-chairman Nandaram Narasimha Goud, General Manager Mission Bagiratha Narayana and others, inspected a five acre land available at the PJR Colony on Wednesday. Despite the Municipality having 30 lakh litre capacity reservoir at Beermaguda already, Mahipal Reddy said the government was keen on building another reservoir at PJR Colony to meet the increasing water needs.
Stating the reservoir works would soon be grounded, he said the administration will be able to supply uninterrupted water to all the 24 wards of Amenpur Municipality. Commissioner of Municipality Sujatha, Tehsildar Vijaya Kumar and others were present.
