Siddipet: A young woman constable, who was diagnosed with blood cancer, passed away in a private hospital in Hyderabad while undergoing treatment on Thursday.

Commissioner of Police Dr B Anuradha spoke to Swapna’s husband over phone and comforted him. She said they would extend all the support to the bereaved family members apart from ensuring the release of all the benefits.
Cheriyal Inspector Srinivas and SI Niresh paid their last respects to Swapna at Lingampally in Jangaon district. The Inspector extended Rs 30,000 on behalf of the government towards the funeral expenses.
